The Western Canada Mountain Bike Tourism Association (MBTA) is a non-profit tourism marketing organization that works with government, industry, and stakeholders to increase awareness for British Columbia’s mountain bike tourism opportunities. The MBTA was formed in 2006 to help coordinate the burgeoning mountain bike tourism sector and seek ways to unite stakeholders in order to benefit from new emerging opportunities. was launched in February 2011 to feature communities and resorts passionate about biking and identify the best authorized trails across British Columbia that represent what mountain biking in BC is all about!  Our goal is to have British Columbia recognized as the most diverse mountain biking destination found anywhere and to help make it easier for you to plan your visit.

2016 marks the latest iteration of  This latest version of the website offers a mobile friendly experience and an ever expanding list of destinations with great riding.  Trailforks has been incorporated into the new website to give visitors convenient access to the most comprehensive mountain bike trail database in the world. We also welcome your feedback and have provided opportunities for riders to share their own views and experiences.

The province is divided into six spectacular tourism regions, each with its own unique character offering challenging terrain, innovative trails and friendly local culture.  We invite you to come experience it for yourself!
